How do I connect to the psyBNC after its installed?

From your IRC client:

/server bnc.kire.net:PORT
/quote pass YOURPASS

PORT is whatever you set in make menuconfig. Host bnc.kire.net is fine (A 70.39.109.170).

In the client, ident and email/username should be your shell login.

Once attached to the bouncer:

/addserver irc.example.net:6667
/password newpassword
/bvhost your.vhost.example
/jump
/playprivatelog

More client commands: psybnc.at/help.html (skip their install; you already built it). Install recap: psyBNC install.

AUP: max 2 IRC connections per shell to a given network.
